OBJECTIVES OF PLAN
The purpose of the Fire Response Plan (FRP) is to provide “initial response” fire information to all Property Owners in the Summit Lake area.
Fire Response
When you see a fire:
1. Complete the Initial Fire Report” form (page 4). The information on this form will be requested when reported to 911 and the Ministry and will assist with the Community response.
Then:
2. Report fire to 911.
3. Report fire to the MoF at 1-800-663-5555.
Then:
4. Report fire to the Community. Duty Officer: Michael Wells 4045 Tallus Road 250-965-2308 or 250-961-4045.
Then:
5. If safe to do so take initial action on the fire using whatever resources are available to you.
6. If NOT safe to take initial action, stay in communication with the Ministry.
Initial Attack
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ACTION A LARGE FIRE WITHOUT THE ASSISTANCE OF OR DIRECTION FROM COMPETENT AND EXPERIENCED LEADERSHIP
SHED ACCESS: Call 911. Ask for hall key lock code. Shed key is in Furnace Room. * Has Shed Key.
